Students who enroll in the Ladderized Associate’s Degree Program will have the option to proceed with obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in International Culinary Management or a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship, Major in Culinary Arts,  from any of AHA’s partner institutions*.  The entire program may be completed in three (3) years, as the Associate’s Degree is completed in one and a half (1 ½) years and the Bachelor’s Degree in another 1 ½ years, depending on the partner institution in which the students decide to pursue his/her program.

Under this Ladderized Program, students need to initially complete the course requirements for the Associate’s Degree in International Culinary Arts to be able to get the Certification from the American Culinary Federation (ACF) as US Certified Culinarians. After successfully obtaining the Associate’s Degree from AHA, students may then opt to continue their studies with any one of AHA’s partner institutions to obtain their Bachelor’s Degree in International Culinary Management.

What are the benefits of the Ladderized Program?

On its own, the Associate’s Degree in International Culinary Arts is certified and accredited by the American Culinary Federation (ACF), which makes this AHA program at par with all other ACF-certified culinary schools in the U.S. in terms of training, facilities and faculty credentials. This means that students who enroll in this program will automatically be U.S.-certified Culinarians by the ACF after completing the course requirements for the Associate’s Degree.

What is a “U.S-certified Culinarian” by the ACF?
“A Culinarian certified by the ACF means that those who have received this certification have achieved and possess international standards of skills and excellence in the field of Culinary Arts, and may easily apply for an entry level position in the kitchen here and in the U.S.  This certification will pave the way towards those who want to become Professional Chefs since ACF-certified Culinarians have this added edge over other culinary graduates. ”
